B-Komachi started as the idol group that put Ai Hoshino on the map under the old Ichigo Production banner. After Ai passed, the group went dark for years until Ruby Hoshino decided to bring it back. She pulled in Kana Arima, a former child actress hungry for a second shot, and MEM-cho, a YouTuber who traded her platform for the stage.
Now operating under Strawberry Productions, the new B-Komachi isn't trying to be Ai 2.0. These three have their own sound, their own energy, and their own reasons for being here. Their first single Pop in 2 marked the start of something new, and they haven't slowed down since.
Former child actress who peaked early and spent years watching her career fade. When Aqua recruited her for the new B-Komachi, Kana found a reason to perform again. She's sharp, she's insecure, famous for licking baking soda and she's got the strongest vocals in the group.
Ai's daughter and the one to surpass her. The one who brought B-Komachi back from the dead. Ruby carries her mom's star-eyes and that same stubborn refusal to quit, but she's not chasing Ai's shadow anymore. She wants to stand on stage as herself.
Started as a YouTuber with a massive following, ended up on stage after a reality show brought her into Ruby and Kana's orbit. MEM-cho brings the crowd energy and the marketing brain. She knows how the internet works, and she makes sure everyone else does too.
